Gojiboutique, the latest high–end fashion website to hit Kuwait, has proven itself to be a key player in the world of online shopping. This past November, Gojiboutique.com held their third open house in Al Tilal Centre. Renting out a spacious area in the up and coming high end shopping complex, Gojiboutique presented their latest collection and introduced the people behind the business to an ever increasing and adoring crowd.
Initially, the exhibition was planned to take place from November 24th to the 26th, but because of the enormous positive feedback they received, it was extended for one more day. “The idea behind this open house, like our previous ones, is to show the face behind the website” explained co – founder and co-owner Hawazen Al Buaijan. “There’s usually apprehension when ordering online, but we wanted to show that there are dedicated people behind the scenes. We’re here for our customers and we want to familiarize them, not only with the garments and accessories first hand, but also to introduce ourselves to them; to introduce them to the people behind the business.” And aside from various print media coverage boosting their presence, an interview with Al Watan television also generated “a ridiculous amount of hits per day” explains Al Buaijan.
The Gojiboutique.com project, which took the Kuwait Athens Trading Company one year to put together, is fast becoming a leader in the Kuwait online shopping scene. No longer focusing on just Greek designers, the site also features up and coming international designers. Gojiboutique clientele will find an incredible selection of evening and day wear as well as shoes, bags and a vast array of accessories.
The next open house promises to provide much more satisfaction guaranteed service and products. “We’re thinking of doing them on a seasonal basis” explains Al Buaijan. And, as a little insider secret, bazaar was told that the Gojiboutique team is playing with the idea of holding the next open house somewhere other than Kuwait. “What better way to introduce ourselves to our other clientele which we’re servicing in the Middle East region?” explains Hawazen. We can’t think of any, so keep your ear to the ground and your eye on bazaar and get ready to call your travel agent soon.
